“I want to use it most for studying at the library and doing some hobbies, also carpooling to visit someplace because I do not have a car; It would be especially good for international students. For example, some international students asked me about Halloween and joining some activities could help them know what exactly Halloween is. Especially with covid, it’s hard to meet new people. If we could use the app, it would be so much easier to find people with the same interests. If the app develops to a multi-universities level, we would even be able to communicate with people in other universities and connect to talk about various subjects. I think it would definitely be very interesting.”
– An undergraduate local student from McGill University
“Wonderful app!!! It’s really straight forward, and it’s perfect for people who are shy and want to make friends or a study partners. I am an introvert, and it is not easy for me to approach others, but I am surprised that my university doesn’t offer something like this already. ”
– An undergraduate international student from Lebanon studying at Concordia University
“This app would help me feel so much better in my undergraduate. I am afraid to go to graduate school because I worried it will be the same experience as my lonely undergraduate, and I almost dropped out because it was really tough. I am an extravert and love to connect with my peers, sign me up with this app, and I would love to go to grad school. ”
– A recent graduated international student from Tunisia studying at University of Ottawa
“Great app! I love how it’s straightforward to navigate and how it’s focused on building friendships and social connections! I wish this was available to me when I was an undergraduate student. As an introvert, it’s not as easy to make new friends (especially if you’re among a large student body like in undergrad), and having access to that app would’ve given me more opportunities to connect with students who share the same interests, hobbies and/or career goals as me.”
